This is an expedition that provides you with an insight into the past and present of the locality. We proceed down the Suldalslågen River on rubber rafts that can accommodate up to 15 persons. Our accompanying guide explains about the long valley and the river, about the salmon lords and the salmon palace. We stop halfway along the 3 km trip at our wilderness camp on the riverbank, where we brew up coffee and tea and enjoy the atmosphere around the campfire. Frying pans are available for those who wish to make their own pancakes over the open fire.
The trip concludes with a tour of Sandfossen Waterfall and the Laksestudio glassed-in salmon leap, conducted by a local guide.
